Jungle Pussy is a Jamaican rapper from Brooklyn, NY and “Nah” is from her debut album, Satisfaction Guaranteed which came out in June. The video is like a 4-minute audio-visual salve for the self-esteem of Black women, including JP’s flip of the Garage Magazine Black woman chair photoshoot from earlier this year. Dashikis, bantu knots and a reference to the Yoruba Goddess Oshun are self-reverential knods to JP’s Blackness and she ends the video reminding everyone of the irresistibility of the Black “Nah.”
