Houston R&B group Sentury pays tribute to Jeffrey Osborne with a cover of “Only Human.” Osborne’s 1990 hit song and album kept the argument strong for his solo career after singing with LTD. Sentury uplifted that memory for those who were around and has grabbed the earspace of younger listeners. CJ, Leo, AJ, and Rico have put the same amount of heart into their version as the original, so much so that Barry Eastmond, who co-wrote the song with Osborne, has said he loves it. Sentury’s version is growing in its appeal and managed to hit number one on the Urban AC chart, giving another win to Houston’s long legacy of soul.
