Watch Kokoroko make their Tiny Desk debut while touring the United States. The London-based jazz collective performed “Never Lost,” “Together We Are,” “Idea 5 (Call My Name),” and “Sweetie” from their sophomore album, Tuff Times Never Last. They emerged in 2019 with their self-titled EP and three years later, Could We Be More was released to critical acclaim. Citing Common, Don Blackman, Patrice Rushen, Loose Ends, Sly & Robbie, and Cymande as influences, the band has carved out a space in the same universe as Incognito.
