Silk was the subject of the latest episode of Unsung and they performed “Girl U For Me” on the show’s live edition. Their 1992 debut album Lose Control was one of the strongest to emerge at a time when they were several male R&B groups. Silk’s Unsung episode was long overdue because even in their prime they were not as celebrated as some of their peers even though they had the talent.
