Tyler, The Creator Shares New Album IGOR Drops, Video With Tracee Ellis Ross

 

Tyler, The Creator’s IGOR came out today and he also dropped the humorous video for “EARFQUAKE” which has an appearance from Tracee Ellis Ross. IGOR comes two years after Flower Boy and there are features from Santigold, Kanye West, Solange, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboy Carti, Charlie Wilson, Jessy Wilson and ASAP Rocky. Tyler produced IGOR’s cinematic sound that has hip-hop and dance at its core with songs about relationships.

The 12-minute film shows all of the cast in different times and spaces as part of a larger cultural narrative where music is all-encompassing and Ross is the elusive ‘African royalty who can not be found by Williams. Tracee Ellis Ross Wins Golden Globe For Black-ish

[youtube id=”2TQkgElWGzQ”] Tracee Ellis Ross won her fist Golden Globe Award last night and it was for Best Actress in a Musical or a Comedy for her TV show Black-ish. She thanked her family and colleagues and dedicated the award to women of color and colorful people. Ross talked to reporters during her backstage interview about her connection to the character on the show and being the first Black woman to win the award in 35 years. Debbie Allen won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy in 1983 for her role as Lydia Grant on Fame.
