Throwback: Too $hort- Blow The Whistle

Too $hort’s “Blow The Whistle” has become his signature song since it was released in 2006. Lil Jon produced the beat for the single that represents the hyphy movement in Too $hort’s native Oakland. Over time “Blow The Whistle” has become synonymous with strip clubs and being a quintessential party starter. Blow The Whistle was also the title of Too $hort’s sixteenth album. Jay-Z, DJ Khaled and Wiz Khalifa have all sampled “Blow The Whistle.” Too $hort released his 20th and last album The Pimp Tape in 2018.
