Usher Takes Over Tiny Desk

Watch Usher celebrate the last day of Black Music Month with a Tiny Desk concert. Usher and his band performed a six-song set that included his friend and fellow singer Eric Bellinger re-introducing his social media singing challenge. Usher also acknowledged the 25th anniversary of his sophomore breakthrough album My Way and he sang the title track and “U Don’t Have To Call,” “You Make Me Wanna” and “Nice & Slow.”  The R&B veteran kept the room in high spirits as the audience sang along to every song. 




The Isley Brothers Give Tiny Desk Concert

The Isley Brothers make their Tiny Desk debut with a four-song set filmed at their home studio in St. Louis, MO Ron Isley shared a couple of stories about Jimi Hendrix and Kendrick Lamar into the show that felt longer than 12 minutes. They started their performance with “Between The Sheets” and finished with “Footsteps In The Dark,” “For The Love Of You” and  “That Lady.” Ernie Isley’s famous guitar solo on “That Lady” was a crowining finish for the band that still has enthusiasm for the stage after almost seven decades.
