Jimmy Fallon will induct The Roots into the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk Of Fame this coming Monday (Oct. 26th) at The Fillmore Philadelphia. The Roots has been the official house band on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon since its launch last year. The four-time Grammy-winning ensemble served in the same capacity for Fallon the previous five years on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The Roots will be honored along with Billie Holiday and disco band The Trammps. The event will also include a charity auction with tickets to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as one of the bidding items.

Talib Kweli just released his free F*ck The Money album last month and he’s already off to his musical adventure. Last night he performed “Every Ghetto” from his Indie 500 collaboration album with 9th Wonder on The Tonight Show with Rapsody and The Roots. Indie 500 comes out November 6th.

Pharrell performs “Freedom” on The Tonight Show above the marquee and gives New Yorkers credit for being proud of their individuality. Pharrell is currently a judge on The Voice with Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton.

Leon Bridges’s debut album Coming Home is out now and he performed the title song on The Tonight Show last night. Bridges will be on tour until the end of the year.
