This is the latest poster from Nate Parker’s The Birth Of A Nation movie. The image debuted on Tidal yesterday and people are responding to Parker as Nat Turner with a noose around his neck made of an American flag. The response to the film when it hits theaters on October 7th, will be interesting because of all the racial tension in the country right now regarding police brutality.



The Birth Of A Nation Official Trailer

Parker, who produced and directed the movie, also stars as Nat Turner who led a slave rebellion in Virginia in 1831 that left up to 65 white people dead. Parker’s film debuted earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival will be released October 7th.



The Birth Of A Nation Living Poster

Nate Parker’s Birth Of A Nation has a living poster that looks almost like a trailer. The story of Nat Turner’s slave rebellion comes alive with a moving illustration and a few seconds from the actual trailer. The movie, which was picked up by Fox from the Sundance Film Festival, will be in theaters October 7th.
