Szjerdene’s “Adobe” is produced by Lapalux and it’s another single from her upcoming Paragon EP. The London singer had this to say about the song: “‘Abode’ describes an account of an out of body experience where you witness the evolved you. Never a finished product, merely a project. In this current state you realise that you are a ‘Paragon’ of your own virtue.”
Szjerdene is preparing for the release of her Paragon EP in October as she shares the ethereal “Faded” as an early preview. The East London native originally produced the song along but the current version has been remastered by Full Crate.
Amsterdam by way of London singer Szjerdene and New York co-producer Quays have worked together to create the emotive “Find Me.” Szjerdene released her first EP on Ninja Tune in 2013 and her profile has raised since working and touring with Bonobo. Earlier this year she collaborated with Lapalux. “Find Me” as she says, “Was written as a freestyle over an initial skeleton beat made by Quays. It’s a continuation from ‘Are You Here’ in story and this time the character is talking to them self. A fragment from a constant stream thought of self reflection and identity: “The one I’ve known forever – stripped down in front of me”. I flew to London to meet and work with Quays and we finished the track together.â€
