N.W.A. To Be Inducted Into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2016 Class

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced their 2016 class and N.W.A. will be inducted at the ceremony April 8th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Tickets for the ceremony will go on sale in February and HBO will broadcast the show. News of the induction ends an incredible year for N.W.A. after their biopic Straight Outta Compton, became the highest grossing film ever from a Black director. N.W.A. is the fifth rap act to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run-D.M.C., The Beastie Boys and Public Enemy.
