Krondon and Shafiq Husayn take the viewer through the neighborhood in their “Main Street” video as White Boiz. The barber shop and the men in chairs on the street get lifted to almost God-like status in the black and white clip directed by Eric Coleman. Neighborhood Wonderful comes out Friday on Stones Throw.

Krondon and Shafiq Husayn put on their White Boiz gear and give a performance of “Learn Tho” filmed by Ross Harris. Their Neighborhood Wonderful album is coming out October 2nd.

Strong Arm Steady member Krondon and Shafiq Husayn just launched their White Boiz project on Stones Throw. Their collaboration came after several conversations about the state of contemporary Blackness. Krondon describes their upcoming, Neighborhood Wonderful album as, “Me and Shafiq like Farrakhan meets Flying Lotus.” Neighborhood Wonderful comes out October 2nd and has appearances from Chace Infinite, Thundercat and Anderson Paak. The first video is for “Mothership Intro” and it’s a mixture of Krondon’s rap about culture as they walk the streets in Muslim gear.

Shafiq Husayn, who is also known as one-third of SA-RA Creative Partners has a new EP of cosmic R&B entitled It’s Good For You. The Eglo Records release is available via Bandcamp on can be pre-ordered on iTunes before the US digital release.
