Watch: Shabazz Palaces: Binoculars Feat. Royce The Choice

Watch Ish from Shabazz Palaces and Royce The Choice rhyme in the video for “Binoculars.” The latest look from the Seattle artists is the first official video from Shabazz Palaces’s Robed in Rareness, which will be released on October 27th.

Watch: Shabazz Palaces Binoculars Visualizer

Seattle’s favorite beat soothsayers Shabazz Palaces unleash the visualizer for “Binoculars” featuring Royce The Choice. The cosmic trap experience is dense and smoky as they transport some of Atlanta’s current rap creed into a soundscape worthy of a strip club or a gang of subwoofers. The visual positions Ish and Royce as royal dwellers in some kind of subterranean world and they are represented as animated figures adorned in prismatic colors. “Binoculars” ushers in the next era for Shabazz Palaces in the form of a new album. It was during the pandemic when they released The Don Of Diamond Dreams. Since then, a couple of singles have dropped including “MEGA CHURCH” featuring Stas THEE Boss, and “20 Gear Science.” The long-awaited Robed In Rareness comes out on October 27th and they will go on tour the very next day.

Shabazz Palaces Release Visual For Bad Bitch Walking

Shabazz Palaces’s visual for “Bad Bitch Walking” is a moderately-paced movement of figures against a white backdrop. Ishmael Butler, Stas Thee Boss, choreographer Tanisha Scott and model Shernita Anderson are the focus of the video for the cosmic funk single. Butler’s pondering of whether to pursue an extraordinary woman while sitting happens at the same time that  Stas, Scott and Anderson dance in the other frames. Director Amhalise Morgan was able to embody the song’s feeling of floaty intoxication with idyllic scenes of different locales, the body and fuzzy light. The Don Of Diamond Dreams came out earlier this year.
