Bulgarian R&B singer Ruth Koleva saw her sophomore album Confidence.Truth be released last Friday. The 10-song collection has a stellar cast of players including Jameel Bruuner from The Internet, Gene Coye who plays drums for Flying Lotus and the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra. Koleva released her first album in 2014 and won Bulgaria’s Radio Awards top prize for it. The budding star is touring Europe later this month. 

Bulgarian singer-songwriter Ruth Koléva is releasing her sophomore album Confidence.Truth next month. “I Don’t Know Why” recalls Stevie Wonder’s ’70s classic period that had a heavy influence on Jamiroquai and The Brand New Heavies. Koléva says the song was written while she was thinking about love and the patience it requires. Confidence.Truth will come out March 30th.
