Ras Kass Is Back With Scar Tissue Feat. Treach & Wais P

West Coast rap legend Ras Kass just released the video for “Scar Tissue” featuring Treach and Wais P. Ras honors life experiences that molded him and and his eternal love for boom-bap rap. “Scar Tissue,” follows “42,” released earlier this month. Both songs are going to be on Kass’s next album, due for release in 2026. Ralph McDaniels of Video Music Box and NYC rapper Greg Nice have cameos in the video for “Scar Tissue” directed by Mo Stafford. Kass summed it up: “In life, you experience a lot, but things eventually heal and leave scars.”  Amadeus60’s James Brown-infected beat and suspenseful strings bring the ’90s right back with lyricists hitting as hard as those drumsticks.
