The new album has appearances from Denaun Porter, Rapsody, B.I.G. K.R.I.T. and more. They also appeared on The Tonight Show last night and performed “Flirt” with 2Chainz.

DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″‘s chemistry as infinite bearers of two turntables and a microphone is rooted in a Golden Era fierceness that never falters. The videos for “Rock It” and “Era” praise hip-hop and the later criticizes America’s problems. Dave East appears in the “Era” visual for his verses celebrating a rap style he states is unusual for his average millennial peer. PRhyme 2 will be released March 16th.

DJ Premier and Royce Da 5′ 9″‘s PRhyme 2 has a tentative release date of March 16th but the first single,  “Era” featuring Dave East is out now. DJ Premier’s ’80s-styled beats comfort East’s laments about being born at the wrong time for his love of the boom bap. The excitement of “Era” is creating pressure for the duo to release the new album as soon as possible.

DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″ are releasing a deluxe version of the album they released last year under the PRhyme project. The new version will have features from Joey Badas$$ and Black Thought among others. “Highs and Lows” featuring  MF Doom and Phonte is the first leak from the album that has a December 11th release date.
