Pink Siifu announces his fourth album, BLACK’ANTIQUE and shares “WHOUWITHHO+” featuring Kal Banx. Siifu raps in his usual snappy but almost whispery flow over Banx’ rotating trap drums. “WHOUWITHHO+” is the second single to emerge from the next album following “SCREW4LIFE!RIPJALEN’!.” Siifu embraces his singular style even harder on BLACK’ANTIQUE and explained that approach in a press release: “This album was made with the intent to sharpen and truly show that an artist should be one of one. This album is the shit eye say to myself in the mirror. We get each album/project to tell a different side of ourselves, bring you into a world, speak on our existence, and express ourselves in depth. Everything present and in front of you isn’t here to stay, but the memory and the stories will forever be something. That’s an antique’! Something or Someone Who is Here to Stay’! A Source of Inspiration, Power, and Something Timeless’!”

Siifu’s third solo album, GUMBO! came out in 2022, and since then he has had collaborative albums including Real Bad Flights with producer Real Bad Man, Leather Blvd. with Ahwlee, and It’s Too Quiet..’! with Turich Benjy. BLACK ‘ANTIQUE will be released on January 27th. 

Pink Siifu and Turich Benjy spent the night out smoking and drinking in their video for “Keith Sweat.” The Noah Porter shot clip was captured after dusk in Las Vegas one evening while the twosome was on tour. The single, named after the New Jack Swing singing legend, is from their joint album, It’s Too Quiet”!, which was released in 2023. Nick Hakim, Kamilah, and Melo-X were some of the collaborators to join them. The duo had instant chemistry on “Bussin (Cold)” on Siifu’s 2022 GUMBO’! and decided to do a full-length project. Their whisper-heavy flow, somewhere on the funk continuum, pops up out of a contemporary southern rap aesthetic with its own charm. They just completed their North American tour in June and will go on a tour of Europe in November. Pink Siifu will tour the United States in September.

Pink Siifu and producer Ahwlee’s B. Cool-Aid project share “soundgood” featuring Liv.e, Jimetta Rose and V.C.R. from their Leather Blvd. album. The spacey ballad is the album’s third preview, and the duo has released the video for it. They have revealed the tracklisting for the album which has appearances from Ladybug Mecca, Foushee, Butcher Brown, Big Rube and more. In anticipation of their album, they have announced dates for their Live In Leather tour that will kick off on March 18th in Chicago. B. Cool Aid released their last full-length album Syrup in 2019. The new album follows last year’s double single bonded, including “COO” and “usedtoo.” Pink Siifu and Awhlee still maintain their monthly BRWN show on NTS Radio. Leather Blvd. comes out on March 31st, via Lex Records.

Pink Siifu’s Gumbo’! deluxe version expands the experience with some of his previous collaborators.  Zelooperz, Valee and Remy Banks are among the crowd that take part in 10 new songs. Kenny Beats, Swarvy and Michael White also give the album a second life with their production. The new edition comes out while Siifu is taking part in his 4 Tha Folks’! tour of the United States. The month-long jaunt through 14 cities has support from VonBeezy, Peso Gordon and Turich Benjy. Siifu released the video for “Voicemails Uptown” at the same time he announced the deluxe release last month. The abundant tracklisting proves that Siifu’s pyschedelic trap-soul has yet to run into a creative block.
