Watch: Lion Babe-It’s Okay Feat. OSHUN

Lion Babe link with OSHUN for “It’s Okay” and they all are present for the video. The fifth visual from Lion Babe’s Rainbow Child is a fanciful moment of soft colors and nighttime at the SeaGlass Carousel at Battery Park in New York City. Their fluid moments among the shifting fish and dancing against the nocturnal sky are all the escape they need from naysayers they sing about ignoring in the song. Rainbow Child is Lion Babe’s gift from their quarantine seclusion. They will perform the current album next Tuesday, September 28th at Elsewhere in Brooklyn.

OSHUN Flex Self-Love & Confidence In Video For Me

[youtube id=”QL8OFSrvCrU”]OSHUN’s “Me” is a declaration of self-love with Brooklyn as the backdrop. The duo lets everybody know they are “the baddest in this B” and “their own heroes” as they hang out with friends, skateboard across the Brooklyn Bridge and sit on the stoop of a brownstone. They even make time for self-care by visiting a hair salon in New Jersey. “Me” is from their debut album Bittersweet Vol. 1.

The song comes from their 2018 bittersweet vol. 1 debut album. The musical partners will embark on a summer tour in June.

Listen: OSHUN-bittersweet vol. 1 (Album Stream)

OSHUN’s bittersweet vol. 1 is a trove of R&B and hip-hop meditations touching on things like being in love and self-actualization. It is the third full-length from the New York duo of Thandi and Niambi two earthy bohemians who describe themselves as the “new goddesses on the block.” The Bittersweet Tour will resume next week in Switzerland. Â
