Nile Rodgers & Chic: It’s About Time Album Stream

Nile Rodgers and Chic saw the release of It’s About Time today after a 26-year hiatus. Elton John, Craig David and Lady Gaga are among the artists making guest appearances on the album. Lady Gaga covered “I Want Your Love” for Tom Ford’s 2016 Spring/Summer fashion show and it is now available on Chic’s new album. Original members Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson have passed since Chic’s 1992 album Chic-ism. Rodgers, who is behind some of the biggest songs of the past 40 years as a member of Chic and as a producer and writer for Diana Ross, Madonna and others re-entered the mainstream in 2013 with Daft Punk and Pharrell on the hit song “Get Lucky.” It’s About Time stays true to the Chic sound without sounding like a period piece. The band will go on tour in December.Â
