Nas’s Illmatic turns 20 this year and a special edition of the album will be released on April 15th. Time Is Illmatic is the documentary directed by One9 that goes behind the scenes to show the making of the album. The documentary will premiere April 16th at the Tribeca Film Festival. Nas will also perform the whole Illmatic album at Coachella this year.

“Shake The Dust” is a documentary about B-Boys and B-Girls in the “Third World.” Adam Sjoberg is the director of the piece that focuses on hip-hop dancers in the Uganda region and Nas will executive produce and provide the score for the film.
