1.Why hasn’t the hip-hop media reported on The Black Eyed Peas achievement of being the first group in 19 years to send three songs into the top ten? “Boom Boom Pow,” “I Gotta Feeling” and “Imma Be” have all made the number one spot. The last group to achieve this feat was Wilson Phillips a pop act.


2. Now that Prince has leaked another lousy song when will he get his groove back or retire as a recording artist and just tour???

This is the Lee Daniels directed trailer for “Precious,” the film adaptation of Sapphire’s novel “Push.” They’ve changed the name to Precious, who is the lead character in the story.

Make sure you go see “Push” and you might even want to read it first. The author Sapphire has been around for some time and was known for her fierce poetry before Push the novel came out in ’96 and became one of the most talked about books that year. Lee Daniels is known for being involved with movies that confront taboos and deal with broken people who transform and heal. He produced “Monster’s Ball” and directed “Shadowboxer.” Lenny Kravitz, Mariah Carey, Mo’Nique and newcomer Gabourney Sidibe make for an interesting cast.
