Robert Glasper’s album of Miles Davis covers performed by various artists was just released. Everything’s Beautiful has guest appearances from Erykah Badu, Illa J, Phonte and more. The album has come out during the current run of Don Cheadle’s film portrayal of Davis in Miles Ahead. Glasper also scored the soundtrack for Miles Ahead.

Robert Glasper and Erykah Badu give their interpretation of Miles Davis’s “Maiysha (So Long)” from the Everything’s Beautiful tribute album to the late trumpeter. Glasper’s various covers of songs by Davis comes out next week, not long after Don Cheadle’s Miles Ahead biopic which is in theaters right now.

Everything’s Beautiful comes out May 27th. Glasper is also responsible for the Miles Ahead soundtrack and it is available now. The movie has a national release on April 22nd.
