Miguel Releases Art Dealer Chic Vol. 4

Miguel has just released his Art Dealer Chic Vol. 4 after re-releasing Volumes 1-3. He also dropped the self-directed video for “So I Lie.” He explained the new music today in a statement:

“Art Dealer Chic is the mindset to invest our beliefs in thoughts and emotions that add the most value in our lives. The same way an art dealer would dictate the value of a particular work, we dictate and curate what thoughts and emotions are worth our time and energy.”

Miguel Reveals Release Date For Art Dealer Chic Vol. 4

Miguel is releasing his Art Dealer Chic Vol. 4 EP in April. His Art Dealer Chic Volumes 1-3 have been re-released just before the arrival of the new project. He says, 

“I’ve been doing a lot of work to consider and refine my beliefs in the last few years. Inevitably, this brought me back to Art Dealer Chic as ADC is more or less an moniker for active mindset curation; Choosing the thoughts, emotions, and actions that reflect my truest self instead of letting what I’ve experienced or what is expected of me dictate my choices.  As a basic operating system, this mentality has made a profound impact on my life and I want to continue to share how, through the music and the conversation around ADC.”

It was almost 10 years ago when Miguel’s Art Dealer Chic Volumes 1-3 was originally released. The EP  It’s been four years since his Art & Leisure album. Back in July 0f 2020 fans on Twitter asked him when he would release a new album and he told them new music would be on the way by the end of the year.  Art Dealer Chic Vol. 4 comes out on April 9th. 




Miguel Brings Back Art Dealer Chic Drops Video For Funeral

Miguel is restarting his Art Dealer Chic EP series and “Funeral” is a preview of the fourth installment. It’s been three years since Miguel’s War & Leisure which was the last time he released music. He took a break and he explained why and the mission of ADC 4:

“I took a long hiatus from the business of music to reassess my objective as a creator. The Art Dealer Chic EPs have always been reserved for freedom, self-curation and honest expression without the influence of music industry politics. I’m excited to introduce my fans to a very different world in my creative expression, and that begins with ADC 4.”

Miguel Gives Preview Of Funeral EP

Miguel shares the dance-oriented title song from his upcoming Funeral EP written and produced with Deion Gill, Alekaei Savchenko and Arutiun Tamamian. In regards to the new music coming he states:

“I’m releasing more music all the way into the new year but “Funeral” is the perfect song to get it started. I’ve been exploring darker tones and themes for some time, this song whets the imagination for what’s to come.” 

“Funeral” is Miguel’s first official release since War & Leisure from 2017.
