Bounce Partners With Michelle Obama To Promote National Voter Registration Week

Bounce TV has partnered with Michelle Obama’s non-profit When We All Vote to increase participation in National Voter Registration Week Bounce and When We All Vote will work together to register African-American voters. Cheryle Harrison, General Manager for Bounce TV commented, 

“We are proud to partner with When We All Vote, whose mission is to change the culture around voting, increase participation in every election and help close the race and age voting gap. Bounce’s Your Voice, Your Vote campaign provides actionable information for our viewers, from registering to volunteering. Black voices need to be heard and counted in this upcoming election; this is not the time to be silent.”

When We All Vote and Bounce TV will engage potential voters with education, awareness and participation. 



Michelle Obama Will Co-Host The Roots Virtual Picnic

Michelle Obama will join The Roots for their 13th annual picnic which will be held online this year in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Obama is participating in the event to encourage voter registration. The former first lady’s nonprofit When We All Vote has partnered with the show. The virtual music festival will take place on June 27th on YouTube. This year’s lineup includes G Herbo, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Janelle Monáe, SZA, Kirk Franklin, D-Nice, H.E.R. and more. Tom Hanks, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chris Paul, Lin Manuel-Miranda and Kerry Washington are scheduled to make appearances. Questlove and Black Thought will co-host with Obama and The Roots will also perform.
