Tuxedo Share Unreleased Song How We Do

[youtube id=”tUSUQQDO5ug”]As the world sits still waiting for the coronavirus to go away, artists are still working from home. Mayer Hawthorne has used his isolation the past two weeks to share rare music with his fans on his YouTube channel. On Thursday evenings at 6PM Pacific time he hosts his Wine & Vinyl Hour which has fans delighted at spending some time with him outside of his music. This week he and Jake One posted the demo of a song called “How We Do.” They had planned to include it on the Tuxedo II album but they lost the original and could not recapture the feeling it had. Stream the recreation and make a reminder for the next session of the Wine & Vinyl Hour.

Mayer Hawthorne Offers An Escape In Video For Healing

[youtube id=”gB-kgKZWMf8″]Mayer Hawthorne takes a break from his Tuxedo project with Jake One to release a video for “Healing.” Hawthorne hangs out in another galaxy going between a small spacecraft and a bigger one. The “Healing” takes place outside of earth and he couldn’t be happier. The release of the singles “Over,” “The Great Divide” and “The Game” late last year returned him to his solo voice. Fans are eager to hear his next album since it was three years ago when Man About Town came out.
