Song Sensation Marva King, Comedians Doug Williams and Jay Reid to Rock LA Nights….Beverly Hills in February


Beverly Hills – “LA Nights…in Beverly Hills” will be a pivotal event on Friday, February 19 when the dynamic diva Marva King graces the stage in celebration of her new EP release, “The One.” Widely recognized for her legendary starring role in the Tyler Perry mega-hit DVD release, “Diary of a Mad, Mad Black Woman,” King plans to light up the stage, bringing all the class and sass she is known for, having performed with the likes of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Prince.

Hosted by 3 the Hard Way Entertainment, comprising Kevin Rouse, Pernell Clark and Lennell Jones, “LA Nights…in Beverly Hills” is a whirlwind evening of comedy, music, dining, drink and dancing held at the Camden House in Beverly Hills at 430 N. Camden Drive. The Heavy Hitters Comedy Hour for the night will feature Doug Williams’ host of “Martin Lawrence’s First Amendment” and Jay Reid, winner of “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes.” In addition to Marva King, funk band, 1 NIGHT STAND will rock the house with DJ Darius Farrely aka Disco inciting the dance floor.

A prolific vocalist with a four-octave range, Marva King is beyond any stereotype or genre.  Larger than such limitations, her recordings include music that is hip hop, gospel, jazz, R&B, funk, reggae and rock.  Her mesmerizing delivery inspired Billboard Magazine’s Larry Flick to write “Marva King is a supreme diva, and her name will go down in history as one of the best.” King’s last neo-soul release ” Grown and Sexy” was received to critical acclaim.
