Ambrosius is the camera’s main focus until shots of the city take the center. Record shopping and styles from the ’90s pass by the screen and DJ Aktive also gets into the frame. His debut EP, The Tour, will come out in the spring of 2018.

Philly’s DJ Aktive has collaborated with Marsha Ambrosius and producer Ivan Barias on “90’s Love.” Ambrosius wishes for that  “Mary J. Real Love” over drums, keys and scratches in a production that sounds like that era. DJ Aktive has been touring the world with the likes of Janet Jackson, Kanye West, The Roots, Nas, Common and so many more artists through the years. He has appeared on several television shows including The The Tonight Show With Jay Leno and The Soul Train Awards. “90’s Love” is his first song and it is the beginning of his career as a music maker.




Common-Lovestar Featuring Marsha Ambrosius

[youtube id=”c8EOlLb_4ho”] Common has collaborated with Marsha Ambrosius on the romantic “Lovestar.” It’s been two years since his last album, Nobody’s Smiling, and  he’s been very busy with movies most recently appearing in Suicide Squad. No I.D. exclusively produced Nobody’s Smiling and they are working together again on Common’s upcoming Little Chicago Boy. The producer shared the single “Home” earlier this summer on the Soulection radio show. “Lovestar” is the second leak from the album that will be released before the end of 2016.
