Marsha Ambrosius: Nyla Album Stream

Marsha Ambrosius returns after a four-year break with her Nyla album. Her passionate vocals are still intact but this time she is married and a mother which is reflected in the music. Ambrosius handles the bulk of the singing with only one guest appearance from PJ Morton. The soul chanteuse is currently on tour as the opening act for Maxwell.

However, there are two scenarios before he arrives and the first one acknowledges the kind of abuse of power some police officers have used to kill unarmed Black men. Thankfully the video ends with Ambrosius, her daughter and the child’s father together at home.

His debut EP, The Tour, will come out in the spring of 2018.
