Malcolm X TV Series Is Being Developed

A television series about Malcolm X based on Manning Marable’s book is being developed by independent studio Critical Content. The studio has optioned Marable’s Malcolm: A Life Of Reinvention to create a scripted drama series. Catfish The TV Show and The Case Of: JonBenet Ramsey are two of the many shows produced by Critical Content.  David Matthews is writing the script and will executive produce the project with the studio’s Ray Ricord, Andrew Marcus and Tom Forman. No one has been cast for any of the roles yet and there is no network attached to series as of yet. Critical Content also has plans to produce a documentary about Malcolm X’s legacy.
