Liv.e drops the third single from her forthcoming Girl In The Half Pearl sophomore album. “Find Out” is about a journey to self-love cradled in a sample of Bobbi Humphrey’s “Please Set Me At Ease.” The new album will be released on February 10th and will arrive two years after her Couldn’t Wait To Tell You debut. She explained “Find Out” in a press release: 

“‘Find Out’ is a reflection of the moment in my journey where I’m finally having a realization of what it means to really love yourself and take a moment to observe what doesn’t reflect self love. Sometimes you realize you only receive and accept what you feel like you deserve and I finally felt like I deserved more than what I was experiencing. Girl In The Half Pearl overall is a chapter of my book where I take you through the journey of my mind states as I’m experiencing the death of who I once was, and ‘Find Out’ is one of those moments where you experience me losing my rose-colored glasses.”

“Find Out” follows the two previous singles “Wild Animals” and “Ghost.” 

Dallas, Texas songstress Liv.e debuts her latest song “Bout It” during her first COLORS performance. The new Mndsgn-produced tune is reflective of Liv.e’s ongoing musical conversation with hip-hop and soul. The title brings up memories of the flick I’m Bout It from New Orleans rap icon Master P but the sound is uncluttered and earthy R&B. Liv.e just started a co-headlining tour with MIKE and they have 14 shows until the end of October. She recently saw the release of CWWTY+ which is the deluxe version of her debut album Couldn’t Wait To Tell You… with 6 new songs. Tickets for the tour are on sale.

Liv.e has a new video from her debut album for “You The One Fish In The Sea.” Her Couldn’t Wait To Tell You… was released in 2020 and she continues to share visuals from it. The clip puts Liv.e in a dark underworld surrounded by dim lights as she is centered on an island. The escapism and her gentle notes are a vibe truly appreciated right now as people are still dealing with the angst of the pandemic. The Texas singer also appeared on KEXP at Home a week ago.
