[youtube id=”AHeW8McMBS8″]Lianne La Havas has recorded a studio version of Radiohead’s “Weird Fishes.” Some fans are missing her performance of the song at Glastonbury which was removed from the internet because of all the emotive layers. But the new recording is stunning in its approach that begins slowly only to give away to feelings of triumph at the end. This recording is on the tracklisting for her self-titled album coming out on July 17th. The artist will live stream a show from London’s Roundhouse on July 15th in support of Lianne La Havas. 

Last weekend Afropunk returned to London for a second time with a lineup that included  Jazzie B., Thundercat, The Internet, Little Simz, Danny Brown and more.

[youtube id=”OD_UX_IcGRM”] Lianne La Havas recently collaborated with UK charity War Child and performed in front of a Sofar Sounds crowd. She performs an acoustic version of “Green and Gold” from her Blood album.

Lianne La Havas is getting ready to release her Blood Solo EP on February 12th and she debuted “Fairytale” from the EP on  Zane Lowe’s Beats1 show. Blood Solo is an extension of her 2015 Blood album, which earned her a Grammy nomination.
