Lee Fields & The Expressions: Wake Up Official Video

Lee Fields & The Expressions have an animated video for their politically-minded “Wake Up.” El Oms is responsible for the images of Lee amongst Colin Kaepernick, the American flag, immigrants and more. Fields’ conviction about people becoming aware of the world they live in is heard and felt in his hearty delivery of soul. The band’s second record for Crown Records, It Rains Love is out now and they are on tour this summer.

Lee Fields & The Expressions: It Rains Love Official Video

Lee Fields & The Expressions drop a visual for the title track from the upcoming It Rains Love album. Leon Michels produced their fifth album which is coming out April 5th on Big Crown Records. The video features a couple sharing good times together and Fields sings in the background. It Rains Love is inspired by domestic happiness and Fields’ own four decades plus marriage. Lee Fields & The Expressions will be on tour soon after the release of the new album.

Lee Fields & The Expressions Share Unreleased Song From Special Night Sessions

Lee Fields & The Expressions recorded more music than what is on their Special Night album. “Time” is a gut-wrenching single about the way life changes over the years that did not make the final recording. Fields’ vocals come together with horns and a bluesy rhythm arrangement. The band will kick off their European tour this weekend in Switzerland.
