The group explores the rhythmic connections between Brooklyn and Brazil using their combined mastery of both sounds. Ladybug Mecca of Digable Planets, Prince Paul, voiceover artist Don Newkirk and Brazilian MC Rodrigo Brandão are BROOKZILL! The new group combines Brooklyn-inspired hip-hop and Brazilian music as its mission.They are releasing Throwback To The Future on October 7th but they have posted the first of three expected mixtapes which you can stream below.

“Hue” is the second single from The Hue collective’s upcoming debut album Aurora. The song is produced by group member King Midas and features vocals from Digable Planets alum Ladybug Mecca.
