[youtube id=”_irm25qT3Ss”]Watch Rachel Ferguson get followed by the ghost of her late lover in Knife Knights’ video for “My Dreams Never Sleep.” Ferguson is unaware of the ghost who hates their separation by death. He also encounters an intimate invitation from a yellow woman who also looks like a specter. The video combines realistic footage with animation and it creates a dream visual where things disappear and the energy re-forms itself into something new. Knife Knights released 1 Time Mirage in 2018,

Two regular-looking men donning a Black Panther mask and wings meet outside and have a chat while flipping a card. Knife Knights, which is a collaborative project with Ishmael Butler and Erik Blood has its proper album release tomorrow. 1 Time Mirage has contributions from Stas Thee Boss, Marquetta Miller, Porter Ray among its 11 tracks. The video for “Give You Game” was released earlier this summer.

[youtube id=”hGvxMZ9eK1o”]Knife Knights is a new project led by Ishmael Butler and it comprises members of his musical family including Erik Blood, Marquetta Miller, Stas Thee Boss, OChotes and more. They perform a 20-minute set of music from their upcoming album in the KEXP studios and take a short break for an interview. Their atmospheric sound is expansive, soulful and moves like a cloud. Their Time Mirage debut comes out September 14th.
