We Are KING Announces Headlining Show In Los Angeles

We Are KING by Kanya Iwana

We Are KING is headlining a show in Los Angeles October 12th at the Ford Theatres. Twin sisters Amber and Paris Strother released their debut album We Are KING in 2016 and were praised by the media and developed a weighty fan following. The album received a Grammy nomination and they were situated within the Top 10 area of Billboard’s Independent and R&B Albums chart. It was all a part of a good omen that gave them the fortune to have Prince as a mentor and advisor after he heard their 2011 The Story EP. It will be their first time performing at Ford Theatres and there are plans to present their older music with different arrangements and to premier some of their new material. The show is different because it will be another first with the inclusion of an orchestral ensemble. Tickets are available at FordTheatres.org.

Earlier this year the sisters offered their fans a request line and spent an hour performing covers and their own music:
