Keyshia Cole Releases New CD Calling All Hearts On Decemeber 21st

Powerful, passionate and on the cutting edge of contemporary R&B, Hip-Hop and Soul, four-time Grammy nominee, KEYSHIA COLE, follows her three consecutive platinum-plus-selling albums with the release of her fourth CD, CALLING ALL HEARTS (Geffen Records), due December 21, 2010. The CD is available in both standard and deluxe editions. The deluxe edition will contain 3 additional songs; 11 tracks are on the standard with 14 on the deluxe.

Featuring collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Faith Evans, Tank, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Timbaland, her mother Yvonne Cole and others among the album’s 14 songs, CALLING ALL HEARTS is an emotional manifesto about life and love in our modern world. Two singles from the album are currently available: “I Ain’t Thru” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Long Way Down,” which KEYSHIA recently performed on Jay Leno.

A twist to the CALLING ALL HEARTS story is that KEYSHIA started recording the album prior to meeting her love, Cleveland Cavalier, Daniel “Booby” Gibson and she completed it following the birth, earlier this year, of their first child, Daniel, Jr. Gibson and Cole are engaged and will be married in the near future.

KEYSHIA COLE’s journey — from the mean streets of Oakland and an adopted family to achieving her dreams as a singer-songwriter — is one of today’s truly extraordinary and inspirational success stories. Since 2005, when her debut CD The Way It Is was released,Keyshia has scored two #1 R&B/Hip-hop albums and seven #1 singles, two of them platinum. In addition, she has scored six Top 40s on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart.

Her 2nd album, 2007’s Just Like You debuted at #1 on Billboards R&B and Hip Hop chart (#2 nationally) and was propelled by three #1s, the platinum “Let It Go” featuring Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim, “I Remember” and “Heaven Sent.” “Shoulda Let You Go” featuring Amina hit the Top 10. The groundbreaking album garnered Cole four Grammy nominations, including for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album, and an American Music Award nomination.

In 2008, she released her third album, A Different Me, which also debuted #1 R&B and again #2 nationally, with the R&B Top 10 singles “Playa Cardz Right” featuring 2Pac, “Trust” featuring Monica and “You Complete Me.”

KEYSHIA has also delved into the worlds of television and film. Most notably, her critically acclaimed BET reality series “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” became the #1 most-watched series in the network’s history during its three-season run from 2006-2008. She also played herself in the movie “How She Move” in 2005. In support of CALLING ALL HEARTS, KEYSHIA is planning for an all female national tour in the new year.

Keyshia Cole Statement On False Reporting

To all my friends and fans – It’s time that I clear the air. It’s not a secret that I haven’t been in contact with my mother Frankie, and my sisters Neffe and Elite and I never wanted to air out our differences to the public. While I won’t go into detail here I find it necessary to let you guys know I decided to stop communication with them because I was at a point in my life where I needed serenity and peace to move forward. Please know I love my family very much but it was time to let it go. You guys are a witness to a lot of what was happening from watching on air and online. Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my #1 priority. It’s very important to both Daniel and I. My plate is very full; I have a new baby coming, we are planning our wedding and I am working in the studio on a new album that I am close to completing. The stress that my family is giving me with their constant false reports is not healthy and it’s not what I need at this time in my life. Please understand that there are only a few people that can officially confirm or deny anything that’s happening in my life and that’s me, Daniel, and my publicist, Tresa Sanders. And my girl Monica never lies.

Love Your Girl,

KC

Keyshia Cole Announces The “A Different Me” Tour

Four-time Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling R&B star KEYSHIA COLE is pleased to announce the A Different Me tour that starts on May 13th and ends on June 21st. The 20-city tour will also include performances by label mate Kerri Hilson, The Dream, and Bobby V.

On May 13th the tour kicks off in Cincinnati at Aronoff Theater and will hit major markets across the country including Chicago, Atlanta, and Oakland.

Tickets have already gone on sale for the first shows and are selling out quickly. Keyshia’s manager Manny Halley says, “This is going to be a very exciting tour for Keyshia and her fans are already lining up to buy tickets. In Atlantic City the venue is already close to capacity.”

Going out on the road is one of the things KEYSHIA loves about being an artist. Since the onset of her career she has done hundreds of shows, half of which she headlined. “The most gratifying thing for me in show business is having the ability to be intimate with my fans. Singing directly to them is the most intimate thing I can do,” states Keyshia.

KEYSHIA continues to set the bar high for all new artists that have surfaced on the music scene within the last five years. She may just be the hardest working R&B artist in showbiz with her first two albums going platinum and the third weeks away from reaching RIAA certified platinum status, Keyshia has already been at work in the studio working on new songs for her fans to hear in the near future. Few artists have released records at this pace.

Four-time Grammy award nominee, KEYSHIA recently won the Entertainer of the Year award from NABOB and a Most Requested Artist award from Music Choice. She has also received awards and or nominations for her work with the American Music Awards, Music Choice Awards, NAACP Awards, BET Awards, Vibe Awards, and Ascap Awards.

KEYSHIA just wrapped shooting the video for “Trust” with Monica, the third video from A Different Me. She is gearing up to shoot her fourth (4th) video for the album for the song “This Is Us” before the tour starts.
