Ron Isley and Kem had fun recording “My Favorite Thing” especially since it started out from a demo that Kem recorded doing his best imitation of Isley. Their mutual respect for each other blended well and the tune became a part of Isley’s This Song Is For You collection.

Yesterday Kem met with eager fans at the Troy, MI Macy’s store in Oakland Mall to take pictures and sign autographs. The R&B singer has a few events on his agenda with his upcoming role in the movie Sparkle, Macy’s Music Festival in Cincinnati, OH on July 27th and his annual Mack & Third benefit for the homeless in Detroit at the end of August. One fan gave the singer a sports memorabilia piece to which the singer expressed great thanks.
