Kandace Springs made her television debut a couple of days ago with this performance of “Love Got In The Way” on the Late Show With David Letterman. Her self-titled EP just came out and although the singer-songwriter is a new artist she has already shared the stage with Prince.

Kandace Spring’s “Love Got In The Way” has throwback elements in the video to match the sound including old cars and a vintage celluloid-looking lens. Her self-titled EP came out yesterday on the Blue Note label.

New York by way of Nashville singer/songwriter/pianist Kandace Springs covers Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” Tha Crown Jules directed the video shot around the city and presented in tinted colors. She’s currently working on her first solo album with a variety of industry-proven writers and producers (Eli Wolf, Claude Kelly, Jack Splash and Pop and Oak) that will be released by Blue Note before the year’s end.
