Junglepussy Shares New Single Showers

Junglepussy is inching closer to the release of her next album later this year but today she shares her new single “Showers.” Frequent collaborator producer Shy Guy returns and the Brooklyn rapper also has support from her three-year-old cousin. “Showers” is a low-pressure jam with an acoustic guitar and Junglepussy’s humorous lyrics about getting into the shower fully-clothed at its core. 

The new album is not Junglepussy’s only venture this year. She made her debut as an actress in the Andrew Bujalski film Support The Girls alongside Regina Hall and Haley Lu Richardson. The movie screened last week at the South By Southwest Film Festival and will be seen in theaters this year. 




Junglepussy Shares State Of Union From New Album

Junglepussy is returning with her third album later this year and longtime collaborator Shy Guy is the producer. “State Of The Union” is the first single from the project and Junglepussy addresses her supporters and haters with her usual caustic but reflective bars. The new album follows her 2015 sophomore release Pregnant With Success.

She will go on a European tour later this month and she is appearing in the Andrew Bujalski film Supporting The Girls which will debut at SXSW in March.

Junglepussy Has A Day Of Leisure In Her Video For Somebody

[youtube id=”ZIOGNMy2GP0″] Junglepussy spends the day doing her hair, playing Chess, painting and lounging in her video for “Somebody.” Erin Grant directed the elusive Brooklyn rapper in the clip that takes place outdoors and indoors. “Somebody” is from her 2015 Pregnant With Success album.
