The visual is on time with Halloween because of the imagery that uses a lot of black and the webs that look like S&M gear. Junglepussy is adorned in a black leather corset with steel spikes on her neck and a ball gag mask on her face. She is ultimately the spider that she is rapping and singing about while catching her prey. Halloween is also a significant time for the video to come out because it is her birthday. Junglepussy will perform with Jacolby Satterwhite’s immersive exhibition, You’re at home at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn on November 8th and tickets can be purchased here. Junglepussy’s JP3 came out in 2018.

[youtube id=”StwsqxbjQoE”]Junglepussy puts herself in the middle of nature in her video for “Trader Joe.” The rapper introduces her alter ego named Ginger who spends the day on a farm tending to the animals and picking tomatoes. According to the Brooklyn rapper, 

“JPtv introduces a new character, Ginger. When expectations let her down, Ginger ends up doing everything on her own. With blessings from her animal friends, Ginger transforms into Junglepussy, gaining the power to produce her own ketchup.”

“Trader Joe” comes from Junglepussy’s 2018 JP3.

The Brooklyn emcee plays all the characters on the show as each woman seeks love with the same man. As usual, Junglepussy has humor in her presentation and she explains the different personas:

“In this episode of “I’m In Love” I see myself in everyone around me. I’m open to everything but I quickly build a wall when I feel like my worth is being compromised. I’m always exploring the journey from initial attraction to utter destruction, & the unraveling of our layers in between. 

I played every character to take responsibility of where I’m at in my career as an independent artist.  Sean is no stranger to my visuals (cc: Spicy 103 FM) He is a reflection of my confidence and masculinity.

[youtube id=”zQuoix5IdGQ”]Junglepussy drops another video today from JP3 and it’s for “State Of The Union.” David Wept directs her as she explores her homestead that has family members, a boyfriend, Faith the Violinist and a paramilitary group. JP commented on the video in a press release: 

“I shot this with my family where I grew up on my grandparents’ block in East New York. It had to be my most exciting shoot yet. I’m so grateful they’re in a Junglepussy video that will forever.”
