Watch Idris Elba In John Ridley’s Guerrilla (Trailer)

[youtube id=”M1-tP_3dDrc”] Guerrilla is a six-part series about a couple in 1970’s London whose relationship progresses from being engrossed in political activism to becoming radical militants. Babou Cessay and Freida Pinto play the couple who become focused on freeing a political prisoner. They also become fixated on dismantling the real-life Black Power Desk, which is dedicated to destroying any kind Black political activism. Idris Elba co-stars in the series and is an executive producer. John Ridley wrote and directed the majority of the series which will debut on Showtime April 16th in the United States and April 13th in the UK.
