Welcome To Our House Brings Four House Music Festivals Together

Welcome To Our House unites four house music brands and four cities under one umbrella. Charivari Detroit, West Coast Weekender, The Chosen Few Picnic and House In The Park have partnered to bring greater visibility to each event. Detroit, California, Atlanta and Chicago’s house music communities will be represented by dance music luminaries who will share music on their home turf as well as a partner city. The Week Coast Weekender San Diego-bound festival will celebrate its fifth anniversary in June with a lineup that includes Osunlade and hip-hop from Rich Medina. Chicago’s Chosen Few Picnic will happen in July and veterans like Jesse Sanders and Mike Dunn are among the DJs on this year’s roster. Charivari Detroit is in its ninth year and the August festival will host Juan Atkins, Moodymann and Ultra Nate on a lineup that already has 22 DJs. Atlanta’s House In The Park has been a source of communal dance since 2005 and will commence on Labor Day with co-founders Kai Alce and DJ Ramon “Rawsoul” Guyton along with DJ Kemit and Salah Ananse. Welcome To Our House’s celebration of dance music’s answer to the death of disco is the first of its kind and the four festivals combined are the foundation of a new summer mood. Tickets and more details about each can be found on the official homepage for each festival.
