Images of young Black boys, a Confederate flag and Clark performing in the house are assembled to show the tension he has experienced simply because of his color and gender. “This Land” is from Clark’s new album which has the same title.

Clark worked with producer Junkie XL on the remake and together they turn the song into an apocalyptic-sounding anthem. Clark is working on his next album to follow-up 2015’s The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim.
