You’re Dead is the follow-up to Flying Lotus’ 2012, When The Quiet Comes. The album has a release date of October 3rd and he says, “The album isn’t about the end, it’s really the beginning. It’s a celebration of the next experience.” There guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Herbie Hancock, Thundercat, Captain Murphy, Niki Randa and Angel Deradoorian.

Flying Lotus Gives Away Unreleased Music

A few days ago Flying Lotus gave away unreleased music to show appreciation for his fans. Earl Sweatshirt, Shabazz Palaces and Andreya Triana are some of the artists in the zip file that can be downloaded here. There is a remix of Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead” but the majority of the music is unfinished ideas and demos.
