Eternia and Mr. Lif share the history of their romance on “The Story Of Us.” Rel McCoy produced the calming beats and Eliki provides the backing vocals. The song is from Eternia and Rel McCoy’s FREE album coming out next week. Mr. Lif and Eternia reflect back on their lives up until the day they met and eventually became a married couple. Their collaboration is rare one as most rappers still don’t rap about love and most duets are character enactments. The relaxed ambiance is a reminder that hip-hop is still a place to talk about love.

World Hip-Hop Women:From The Sound Up is a mixtape of various female rappers from around the globe. Nomadic Wax put this mix together to showcase the underrated voices of women in hip-hop.

BET’s “Follow Friday” cameras trailed Canadian rapper Eternia around her Astoria, Queens neighborhood in New York City and she does a freestyle rap.

Eternia returns with her first audio leak since the critically acclaimed and Juno-nominated album “AT LAST” (Fat Beats Records). Elzhi’s “ONE LOVE” – arguably the deepest track on the Nas-inspired ‘Elmatic’ – tells the tale of a fly, ride-or-die woman that had it rough growing up, but ends up as El’s one love. As Eternia explains it,

“I related so much to the person that Elzhi describes in ‘One Love’. A lot of her experiences – not all, but many – mirrored my own life.”
