Afropunk’s No Trumpism mixtape is a response to the current U.S. Presidential election and the cult of personality being built around Republican candidate Donald Trump. The music is a mix of rough rock with songs from Esperanza Spalding, Funkadelic and more.

Spalding’s stage show for her current album has incorporated theatre, new choreography and three backup singers. NPR Music Front Row streamed the show as part of their First Listen Live series.
