Nigerian R&B singer Douye (Doe-Yay) is following up her 2007 Journey debut album with So Much Love this year. Douye, who cites Sade, Rachelle Ferrell, Dianne Reeves, Anita Baker, Nancy Wilson and Chante Moore as influences is offering “Till Morning Comes” from the album as a stream. Subject-wise she tackles mental illness and the importance of enjoying the simple things in life and she has a song dedicated to Fela. As a child she attended many of Fela’s famous performances at his Shrine nightclub in Lagos and “So Much Love” is her tribute to him and that time.
