Digable Planets will live stream a show on May 15th from Neumos in Seattle, Washington. The show will be streamed through the Sessions Live platform. Tickets start at $15 and there are other options including tickets with merchandise bundles.

Shabazz Palaces’ The Don Of Diamond Dreams came out today. The new album comes three years after Quazarz vs. The Jealous Machines and Quazarz: Born On A Gangstar Star. An aquatic cartoon visual for “Wet” was also released today following videos for “Fast Learner” and “Chocolate Souffle.”

[youtube id=”Od0sIvd-034″] Cee Knowledge And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra release the video for their new single “Space Man.” The autobiographical song has an animated clip featuring Knowledge and the orchestra floating around and eventually leaving earth. At one point, they are chased by Donald Trump and that seems to be the motivation for their departure. Knowledge is usually known as Doodlebug from Digable Planets and he’s been performing with the orchestra since 2000. “Space Man” is an obvious reaction to the lack of unity among people without being reactionary. You can buy it from the usual spots. 

[youtube id=”YTOkwV_iNEE'”] Digable Planets performed a five-song show at the Kex Hostel studios in Iceland last month and now the full show is viewable. The band has been on a reunion tour for most of 2016 and their reappearance builds hope for a new album.
