PRhyme: Era Featuring Dave East

 

DJ Premier and Royce Da 5′ 9″‘s PRhyme 2 has a tentative release date of March 16th but the first single,  “Era” featuring Dave East is out now. DJ Premier’s ’80s-styled beats comfort East’s laments about being born at the wrong time for his love of the boom bap. The excitement of “Era” is creating pressure for the duo to release the new album as soon as possible.

Pandora hosted their Pandora Sounds Like You NYC concert at Brooklyn Steel last night. Nas attended and there were performances from Young M.A. and Dave East. Biz Markie was the DJ for the event.
