3. Now that Pitchfork has done a retraction of their video of Chief Keef at a firing range in response to the rapper being investigated for making a joke about the death of rapper LilJojo on Twitter, why did they think it was OK in the first place?

Chi Ali was the youngest member of The Native Tongues that included De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest and The Jungle Brothers. He started rapping when he was 14 making guest appearances on songs by Black Sheep and De La Soul. His one and only album The Fabulous Chi Ali came out in 1992 when he was 16 and became an instant classic of The Golden Era. In 2000 he committed the crime of murdering his girlfriend’s brother. He was arrested in 2001 and began serving a 14-year sentence for the offense. In this short documentary he talks about his life and why prison is not the place to be.
